Though Android seems to have a great future, it still has Symbian and Apple as contenders. It is well known Android got its initial push from mobile phone manufacturing and application developers, and has a long way to go to get to the actual market of cell phone users. But things may look much easier in the coming year in 2010 as a number of android-powered handsets are set to be brought to the market.
This year, 2009, 10 Android devices were introduced in the market and in 2010 about 50 Android devices are going to be out by different companies. 50 looks like a good number.
Take A Look Below At a Quick List of Expected Android devices in the year 2010:
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 may be out in the first few months in 2010.
Sony Ericsson too may introduce Android devices.
Acer and HTC will also launch five to six Android devices early in 2010.
Once Droid hits the sales figures, Motorola will also join the union and launch a few Android mobiles (for those who don’t know, Motorola Droid has recently been awarded the Times Gadget award and device of the year award- which makes Droid look promising ahead). So the list includes Acer, Sony Ericsson (SE), Motorola and HTC.
And if the Google cell phone really happens (the supposedly picture of it has already been leaked out), we will see yet another Android supporter. Early this year Samsung had announced that it would bring out Android phones for a price of around $ 100 in 2010. With so many Android phones in the market, the costs of these are surely going to get reduced to a good extent.
Well, 2010 seems to have many thingsa lot for the cell phone market and its users; also for Android as 2009 was a year full of highs and lows. But let’s wait and watch if all turns out to be true .
